Natural Cures for Acne, Acne TreatmentsGood Fortune Soap's Professional Grade Skin Care, along with our Eesthetician's care is a sure way to fight acne where it starts.

When a pore gets clogged, usually with dead skin cells, you get a pimple. Bacteria can get trapped inside too, causing your skin to become red, swollen, and acne forms.

Do you have acne on your face, back, chest? If so, you are not alone. Some times it is genetics, diet, stress, or hormones that creates those nasty little flair ups, but here are 12 tips to help empower you to fight acne!

  1. Change your pillow case right after a facial, and at least once a week.
  2. Wash your face, neck, and chest twice a day and splash at least 10 times to get all of the dirt out of the pores. (Use charcoal cleanser if you are more prone to breakouts or have normal-oily skin).
  3. Exfoliate gently with baking soda twice a week for 2 minutes, rinse, then apply pumpkin face mask on your face, neck, and chest. Leave on for 15 minutes, rinse, tone, and moisturize. The glycolic acid helps remove built up of dead skin and clogged pores. You can also use it as a spot treatment on bumps daily as you feel them coming up.
  4. Don't over exfoliate. This can cause breakouts! Only exfoliate one or two times a week, and don't be harsh.
  5. Use Vitamin C toner 1-2 times a day to help remove any extra dirt, oil, and makeup. Plus the Vitamin C gives you anti-oxidants which help fight free radicals.
  6. Use your Vitamin C toner to clean your phone every day. After you are done cleaning your face, just use the same cotton ball to wipe off your phone. Cleaning your phone daily will help stop chin and cheek acne.
  7. Don't touch your face. Your fingers are dirty. Picking your acne, or resting your face in your palm will only make it worse.
  8. Don't squeeze your acne. This usually leads to further inflammation, which makes the acne look worse and last longer.
  9. Tea Tree Essential Oil: Use 1 drop of pure tea tree essential oil, and dab on acne spots. Or, roll our Tea Tree Blemish Stick on all areas that are broken out. Tea tree helps kill the bacteria and the roll on has organic aloe juice that helps soothe the redness and inflammation.
  10. Back Acne: Try our Peppermint Tea Tree Faucet Soap. The tea tree and peppermint essential oils help disinfect breakouts and the mesh bags exfoliates your skin to help unclog pores on your back, shoulders and chest.
  11. Cystic Acne: Most people either have cystic acne, or not. Keep your skin-care routine as simple as possible and follow it religiously. Using our unscented organic skin care is a great way to keep your pH balanced, and will cause less flair ups.
  12. Get a facial at least twice a year, and seasonally if you can. We only use organic skin care in our facials, so you leave with a natural glow!
