We had a great time this past Saturday with Meg and all of her friends as we celebrated her 10th birthday party!
We started the party off with bubbles and music of her choice, Justin Beiber! Ha!
As we waiting on everyone to get there, I shared a little bit of my story, and how I started my first business when I was 10 years old, and how far I had come. One of my favorite things about owning my own business is inspiring girls and women to follow their dreams.
We then sampled our delicious brown sugar lip scrub and ooo'd and aaa'd at our super soft lips! Then Mrs. Lynda, our aesthetician applying a chocolate face masque to all the girls' faces! They named themselves "Meg's Mud Monkeys"! Finally we all scrubbed our hands and arms with our Eucalyptus Mint Lime Body Scrub. Everyone thought it felt "weird", but then couldn't stop rubbing their new soft skin in delight!

Before we started the party, Meg got to choose her favorite 5 scents so that her friends could choose from her "faves" for the custom scented product project. Once we all sniffed the manly fragrances that "smelled like dad", and the vanilla "cupcake" smells, we started blending them in lotion and liquid body wash. It was messy, but oh so much fun! Once we got the final labels and bows applied, then it was time for pictures, cupcakes, and gifts.
For us, it was so much fun to share our products with smart and witty girls that made us laugh and remember what it felt like to be kid. To see their beautiful skin, and innocent spirits makes you pause and pray for their sweet lives as they grow up! Hopefully we had a tiny positive influence as we partied!
