Happy Spring friends! We want to announce an exciting new partnership we have with a local business that we feel will really elevate our make and take experience!
As small business owners, we feel the responsibility to give our customers the best experiences possible. Throughout the past year we have felt the tension of trying to provide a restoring and relaxing spa experience while also trying to provide a fun and creative make-and-take experience.
The two have felt hard to balance. We’ve consistently felt like the area we shine brightest in is the spa and have naturally gravitated to highlighting and growing that area while make-and-take took a back seat.
....enter Happy Company Candles!
We first met Andi at a Christmas open house. We observed their candle bar execution to be flawless and, as former teachers, these sisters have a passion for walking people through the creative process just the way we have imagined for our make-and-takes. This connection sparked a beautiful conversation.
We are thrilled to announce that beginning in May, we will be discontinuing our make and take experience as it currently exists and partnering with Happy Company Candles to bring you a fresh, new experience! HCC will be hosting candle bars at Good Fortune every Wednesday and Saturday with the focus being solely on this creative expression!
Spots will be limited so be on the lookout for more info on signing up for this experience!
You may be wondering what this means for custom body products. We will continue to offer custom products, however we will officially be discontinuing all fragrance oils in May. Our customizable products will be available in essential oil blends only with customers being able to select from our house blends or single oils as scents. We will also no longer be considering this an “experience.” Customers are welcome to order custom body products online or walk-in to select their preferred blend. However, in order to focus on our spa experience, we will no longer be taking people through the process of mixing their own scents.
Our goal behind this is to leave the creating to the experts so we can elevate and add to our spa! We have more exciting spa developments that will be announced in the upcoming months! In the meantime, stock up on all your custom products while you can!
