Showroom Grand Re-Opening | New COVID-19 Protocols

Welcome Back!

A lot has happened over the past couple of months, we’re sure you’ve noticed! We are grateful for the support we have received from our customers, whether through an online order or just an encouraging message. While our storefront has been closed, we’ve been avidly working behind the scenes.

Through uncharted times like these, it’s common for small businesses to go under. Economists are estimating that up to 70% of small businesses in the US are going to have to close because of the pandemic. This is heartbreaking. This season for us hasn’t been easy by any means but Good Fortune is proud to say that we aren’t going anywhere!

So, with all the joy in our hearts, we would like to announce our:

  • Showroom Grand Re-Opening on Friday, May 15
  • Spa Grand Re-Opening on Tuesday, June 2

We’ll be operating during our normal business hours. We cannot wait for everyone to be back in our store and spa. We’ve missed you all!

Good Fortune Soap may look a little different than you remember. We’ve been undergoing a complete remodel-- new paint, a new store layout, COVID protection shields, and a whole new look. Not only will the store itself have a different glow, but also all of our products have been rebranded. Our goal has been to make Good Fortune not only a beloved business but also an experience to enjoy every time you step through our doors. However, rest assured we still offer the products and services you know and love, just with a little facelift!

In regards to COVID-19, we have put in place policies and procedures to keep everyone as safe as possible.

Our new COVID policies are:

HOW RETAIL CLIENTS CAN HELP

  1. Guests are ENCOURAGED to wear a mask while shopping. We are hoping to have some masks for sale as well.
  2. Please wash your hands as soon as you arrive.
  3. Please practice social distancing, as best you can inside the store.
  4. We are still offering curbside pickup if you prefer that option.
  5. Please keep KIDS in strollers or close by. Little hands like to touch everything!
  6. Make & Take RESERVATIONS are REQUIRED FOR WEEKENDS. Please, no groups larger than 4 people, unless you want to book a private party.
  7. Please do NOT touch retail products (unless you are purchasing). This helps staff not have to clean 1,000 items every hour :)
  8. Please only come if you are feeling healthy. If you are feeling sick, (ESPECIALLY fever, cough, shortness of breath, etc.) then order online.

NOTE: Make & Take Skincare Bar

  1. Reservations are required on the weekend to ensure we keep the number of people in the store at a minimum.
  2. Please, no groups larger than four people during store hours.
  3. Private parties will be allowed after hours, with a reservation of 10 people or less.

HOW SPA CLIENTS CAN HELP

  1. SPA clients MUST wear a mask upon arrival and during most of the treatment.
  2. Please wash your hands as soon as you arrive.
  3. Please NO extra guests that want to "wait". We removed all comfy chairs for now.
  4. Please come ON TIME (waiting areas are limited).
  5. Please do NOT touch retail products (unless you are purchasing). This helps staff not have to clean 1,000 items every hour :)
  6. Please only come if you are feeling healthy. If you are feeling sick, (ESPECIALLY fever, cough, shortness of breath, etc.) we are more than happy to reschedule your appointment.

The following are several extra precautions to note during your visit:

  • No couples massage at this time.
  • No facial massage and sinus massage at this time.
  • We have temporarily suspended signing for credit/debit card transactions. We prefer a credit card over cash if possible.
  • No hugs or touching right now. We still love you!
  • Please bring your own water. We are not offering water right now.
  • Avoid touching your face, nose, eyes, etc.
  • Avoid touching high-touch surfaces in public places.

WHAT WE ARE DOING TO HELP

  1. Employees will wear a mask while working.
  2. We will constantly wash our hands.
  3. We are still offering curbside pickup if you prefer that option.
  4. We have a plexiglass divider for the retail counters.
  5. We will only come if we are feeling healthy.
  6. We are sanitizing high traffic areas every two hours at a minimum.
  7. We're staggering appointments as much as possible to limit the number of people in the shop.
