Retail Returns and Exchanges

Good Fortune's main goals are quality and customer service. We want you to be happy with your purchases. If you are not happy with the quality, and would like to return or exchange an order, please call or email us to obtain a return authorization and receive further instructions:

Please call (423) 473-6727 or email sales@goodfortunesoap.com, Tuesday-Friday from 10am to 6pm (EST).

Please return items in their original packaging and include a copy of the packing slip. You can return items up to 10 days after the date we shipped your order. Shipping charges are not refundable. Remember, we cannot accept returns without prior authorization.

Variation in color, shape, and finish are not mistakes, they are handcrafted.

If we shipped the wrong item to you by mistake, please contact us, and we will re-ship your order with the correct item at no additional cost.

Sorry, but Good Fortune cannot accept returns of items purchased through retail stores. Conversely, retail stores cannot accept returns of products purchased online or by phone.

Wholesale Returns and Exchanges: There is a 15% restocking fee on all returned and exchanged goods, unless discussed otherwise. Claims must be made within 5 days upon receipt of shipment.

We give you simple flat rate options for shipping.

0-$25 = $5 flat rate shipping
$25 or more = free shipping (we appreciate your business!!!)

Free in-store pick up is available in Chattanooga, TN. We do not charge a handling fee and try to keep shipping as low as possible, because we understand shipping is kind of a bummer. Go figure, west coast shipping costs more than east coast shipping, but we don't make the rules. We hope you'll still find huge savings in the cost of our products.

We are currently NOT offering international shipping due to the high cost of shipping

 

Your Gift Wrapping FAQs answered

What gift wrapping options do you offer?

Online: Choose gift wrapping during checkout. We specifically offer Birthday, Christmas, and general gift wrapping! We’ll wrap your product or gift set in a cute box with a gift message.

In-store: We offer free gift bags with tissue paper or cute gift boxes for $2. We do have deluxe gift wrapping for $4 if that option is requested. 

Does gift wrapping cost extra?

Yes, gift wrapping is an additional $4 per box. If you order a gift set all of the included items in that set will be wrapped together. If you order a single product, and choose gift wrapping, then that item will be wrapped individually.

Can I write a message to include with my gift wrapped item?

Yes! Once you choose which type of gift wrap you want, you can write a message to include with the gift.

Can I create my own gift set?

Yes! Add individual products to your shopping cart. Choose gift wrapping on any of the items, and in the notes section, please tell us what items you want included in your gift box. Items not listed in your note will still be shipped with that order, but not inside the gift wrapped box.

Do I have to gift wrap everything in my cart?

No! It’s completely up to you. You can choose which items you want to be gift wrapped and which ones you don’t. 

What does the gift wrapping look like?

After you choose your gift wrap type in the shopping cart, a “preview” link option will appear. Click that link to see an example of the gift wrap you chose! Our standard style is a brown kraft style box with ribbon and an earthy shred for cushion. 

Can I get my items shipped to different locations?

Each order must be shipped to one location. If you want multiple shipments, then check out multiple times.
